Answer Adjustment

Jesus Alvarado-Amaro asked 2 months ago

I was wondering if I could change my answer after I sent it to the courts and Citibank lawyer Stenger and Stenger? After watching the Citibank video, I did like their answer better than the one I had. How long do I have time to adjust or change by answer? Just to people know, yes i did send a Counter Affidavid but it was after my answer before I saw the video. If people need to see what I put out please dont hesitate to ask me!

See the Video on Amending the Answer. I Michigan it is fourten days from the date your first Answer was filed-Meaning you can amend without permission and you must forward the amendment to everyone on the case. After 14 days you have to ask for permission from the court or get the attorney to stipulate on the other side. Good luck.

Ok thank you. A follow up question. When it comes to CITIBANK lawsuit, in the video for then if I recall correctly that in the complaint from Stenger and Stenger the mini maranda is there, they are considered a debt collector. Which means it is their first contact with me and that I can send a validation letter to them? Is that correct?
